Summer activities in Val di Fiemme

TREKKING
Discover why the Trekking on the Lagorai mountain range is known as “the Trekking of the legends”. A unique panoramic view, sunsets that reflect on the rocks, little alpine lakes set like precious stones, surrounded by colours and a soft smell of roses and rhododendron flowers.
MOUNTAIN BIKE
Val di Fiemme is crossed by the Cycle Route of the Dolomites which goes on to Val di Fassa through meadows, streams and mountain huts. With just a 600m height difference, you can ride for almost 50 km, from Molina di Fiemme to Canazei. From the cabin lift Alpe Cermis station in Cavalese in the valley bottom, you can carry your mountain bike on the cabin and you’ll be up at 1280 m in a few minutes, then you are free to choose you favourite track surrounded by the nature. HIKING IN THE NATURAL PARK
An over 19.000 hectares area to preserve the flora and fauna biodiversity, in the Paneveggio Park you will visit exhibitions and lots of interesting activities to fully enjoy the park.
MUSHROOMS PICKING
A various assortment of mushrooms grow in our forests and woods in the spruces’ shade. However, our forests are well known for their big size edible boletuses (mainly B. edulis) and for their chanterelle mushrooms (C. Ciborium). RAFTING
From Masi di Cavalese down to the dam in Molina di Fiemme, three hours full of emotions and fun. You will be going safely down the Avisio river on a rubber dinghy. This river rises from the Marmolada glacier and flows through Val di Fiemme.
HORSE RIDES
No matter if you are experts, horse lovers, or you just want to try for the first time the emotion of riding a horse and touch the nature in a different way, not faraway from the hotel you will find several riding schools.
FISHING
